Competitive Summer Enrichment Programs

Two free competitive summer enrichment programs, formally called the Governor’s School of Excellence are available to current Sophomores and Juniors. One is a Global Entrepreneurship It’s purpose is to expose students to the topics of entrepreneurship, global networking, team building, project management, leadership and working in a culturally diverse environment. It is held at Lehigh University. The second program is the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy. It introduces students to the world of health care, including issues of primary care, prevention, public health, career exploration, human growth and development and areas of practice. Transportation costs and some activity costs are not included. The application process is extensive. The application deadline is February 15, 2011.
