Pittsburgh National College Fair
The Pittsburgh National College Fair will be held on February 3rd & 4th at the David L Lawrence Convention Center. Hours that the fair are open are 9:00-12:00 and 6:00-9:00 on the 3rd and only 9:00-12:00 on the 4th. The fair is free to attend. Evening hours are the least crowded. This is the largest National College Fair in the country with workshops in financial aid and the NCAA as well as college representatives from most major national colleges and area schools. Former Governor's School of Pennsylvania Programs for 2011
Two academic enrichment programs of study are available this summer. These competitive programs are former Governor’s School of Pennsylvania Programs. They are the Pennsylvania School for Global Entrepreneurship, and the University of Pittsburgh Health Career Scholars Academy. Both applications are available in the guidance office. Congress Bundestag Scholarship
Opportunity for a graduating senior who is at least 18 years old but not older than 19 to spend a year in Germany. If you think you know of someone, details are in the attached letter. Deadline is Jan. 31, 2011 See your counselor ro Mrs. Nanassy for details.

Course Selection Sheets
Reminder to all students – You must return your course selection sheets to your guidance counselor ASAP in order to be placed in your selected courses. If the course selection sheets are not returned you may not be placed in the courses you requested.

Best Buy is offering $1.2 million dollars in scholarships for students in grades 9-12. That’s 1200, $1000.00 dollar scholarships.
