The ASVAB test will be given on February 9th at 8:00 am. Interested Juniors and/or Seniors wanting to take the test should sign up with Mr. Chick in the Guidance Office. Deadline to sign up is January 29th. The High School Guidance Blog has an excellent explanation of this test.

Scholarship information and applications for the Robert C Byrd Honors Scholarship are available in the guidance office. Application deadline is April 1, 2010. Application Requirements are 3.5 unweighted gpa, top 5% in your class, and SAT scores of 1150 combined in Reading and Math.

Scholarship for student planning on attending Penn State University

Greater Johnstown High School students planning to enroll at Penn State University are reminded of the Michael Francis Carey Memorial Scholarship.

Students are eligible for to apply for the scholarship if they meet the requirements as set forth in the scholarship guidelines and have been offered admission to the university. The scholarship is provided in four annual awards of $3750 which amount to a total award of $15,000.
